Vegetable Shortage

Because of typhoon Pepeng, there seems to be a shortage of vegetables here in Manila.
I was just at the grocery this morning and theres 5 packs of 3 piece small to medium sized carrots left. There was no potato in sight.
The stocker told me delivery trucks couldn't go in and out of the vegtable source of Manila which is Baguio.
I hope this too shall pass, Php11.00++ for a small piece of carrot is too much!

At Kids Village SM Fairview,Quezon City. After seeing this I was completely grossed out and took my daughter away from the place as fast as I could. I hope they clean up the place and have it sanitized. I am actually planning on having it inspected by the sanitation department. Kids play in there for goodness sake!
